New York and Los Angeles: The Uncertain Future

In April 2013, Oxford University Press announced the publication of New York and Los Angeles: The Uncertain Future, a major scholarly volume co-edited by Andy and David Halle, Professor of Sociology at UCLA.

The book represented the culmination of a long collaborative research partnership between the two scholars – one that readers of the earlier articles in this collection will recognize as stretching back through years of joint NSF-funded work, shared data projects, and the development of Social Explorer.
