Dr. Beveridge helped write an amicus brief using his research to demonstrate how to measure gerrymandering to give the courts a way to determine when gerrymandering crosses a line and is actionable in our courts. His research helped lead the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to rule against the Pennsylvania districting plan and to requie it to be written and rewritten to actually help the Pennsylvania voter get representation.
