Chapter 4. User References
4.1. Detailed Tables for ACS 2007-2009 & 2005-2009 Multiyear Data
It contains information on all detailed tables included in the 2005-2009 ACS 5-year Summary File. It also indicates which tables will be available at the block group level, and tables that will be available only on the Summary File (not available on American FactFinder). The table list is located in Appendix E.
4.2. ACS 2007-2009 & 2005-2009 Multiyear Summary Levels/Components For Detailed Tables
It contains a list of the summary levels and components that are included in the 2005-2009 ACS 5-Year Detailed Tables. The list is located in Appendix F.
4.3. Sequence Number and Table Number Lookup
It contains information on the relationship between the sequences and the tables, and indicates the relationship between the sequences and the subject areas. The Sequence Number and Table Number Lookup is available in both Excel and SAS dataset format, and is located here: www2.census.gov/acs2009_5yr/summaryfile/.
4.4. Table Shells List
It contains Table ID, Line Number, Unique ID (table ID + Line Number) and stub. The table shells list is located on the following site: www2.census.gov/acs2009_5yr/summaryfile/.
4.5. Excel Geography Files
It contains logical record numbers (LOGRECNO), geography ID, and geographic labels by state. There are total of 53 spreadsheets in the folder: one for each state, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, and one for geographies that cross state boundaries. The mini geography file list is located on the following site: www2.census.gov/acs2009_5yr/summaryfile/UserTools/.
