Notes
The opportunity grade of a location is based on the projected square footage per capita of self storage space. It combines estimates of both population and the installed and incoming self storage capacity. A neutral grade means that the projected supply of self storage capacity may be sufficient to meet the demand based on the projected population. The other two grades, Warrants Investigation and Warrants Caution, indicate possible shortages or surpluses of self storage capacity relative to projected population. Only those geographies that have population densities greater than 28 are graded.

Opportunity Grade Explanation:

"Warrants Investigation" - Indicates that either Square Footage per Capita or Projected Square Footage per Capita is between 2 and 4, and the other one is less than 4, or that both are less than or equal to 2. This suggests that the area is missing some storage space.

"Neutral" - Indicates that either Square Footage per Capita or Projected Square Footage per Capita is between 4 and 6, and the other one is less than 6, so the area has enough storage space.

"Warrants Caution" - Indicates that either Square Footage per Capita or Projected Square Footage per Capita is between 6 and 8, and the other one is less than 8, or that both are above 8. This suggests that the area may have more storage space than needed.
