The U.S. Census Bureau has conducted the Decennial Census every 10 years since 1790. It provides a full count of the U.S. population for congressional and legislative redistricting and includes detailed demographic information spanning over 220 years. Starting in 2010, the Census stopped using the long form survey and now reports information on population, households, age, sex, race and ethnicity, and housing characteristics only. U.S. Decennial Censuses on 2010 Geographies provide reallocated data from Decennial Censuses on 2010 geographies. Reallocation of decennial census data on 2010 geographies was performed using reallocation fractions from Longitudinal Tract Data Base (LTDB). Data is available on census tract, county, state and nation level geographies. The form of this survey, as well as the datasets and tables it contains, is kept similar to our corresponding Decennial Census surveys.

U.S. Census Comparability Data provides data reallocated from U.S. decenial censuses to the U.S. census 2010 geographies helping users to explore changes over time on tract and county levels.
This dataset shows the total population broken down by race by ethnicity for the cities that have seen the protest. The list of cities is compiled by The New York times and it is possible that some of the cities are missing from the list.
Population Estimates in addition with Social Explorer tables provide the estimates of population, demographic components of change, and housing units for the latest vintage year. As each vintage of estimates includes all years since the most recent decennial census, the latest vintage of data available supersedes all previously-produced estimates for those dates.

This group includes the collection of the U.S. housing related data such as Fair Market Rents, used as the basis for payment standards in the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. It also includes the Income Limits, i.e. income thresholds for determining eligibility for housing assistance. The Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) is the most important resource for creating affordable housing in the United States today. In addition to the LIHTC, the U.S. government has subsidized housing for renters with low incomes since the Housing Act of 1937, i.e. the programs that offer subsidies to reduce rents. Most of the programs are paid for by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). There is also the U.S. Building Permits Survey that provides national, state and local statistics on new privately-owned residential construction. This data includes the number of buildings, number of housing units, and permit valuation by size of structure. Data on permits issued for new construction are available monthly and annually.
County Business Patterns data in addition with Social Explorer tables provide annual statistics for businesses at a detailed geography and industry level. Available information includes the number of establishments, employment, first quarter payroll, annual payroll, and average employee wages. In addition to the County and ZIP Codes Business Patterns, Nonemployer Statistics provides annual statistics by geographic area, NAICS industry, receipts, and receipts-size class of establishments (U.S. level only). The data consist of the number of businesses with no paid employees and total receipts by industry. Precautions are taken to avoid disclosing the operations of an individual employer.This group also includes the House Price Index (HPI) starting from 1994 up to the most recent year, a broad measure of the movement of single family house prices. The HPI is a measure designed to capture changes in the value of single-family houses in the U.S. as a whole, in various regions and in smaller areas. The HPI is published by the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) using data provided by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
