Young Americans Making More than $200,000 Annually

Young Americans who make more than $200,000 annually make up a majority of households in one large U.S. Census tract – located in New York City’s financial district. But that’s not the only neighborhood where people between the ages of 25 and 44 are making more than three times the national median household income. From San Diego to Boston, young households are reporting incomes topping $200,000 in more than 2,100 of the nation’s 74,000 Census tracts.
