Renter Occupied Housing, 2019

WEDNESDAY, OCT 28, 2020

Renters now make up a majority of residents in almost three dozen large U.S. counties, according to the 2019 American Community Survey. Some, such as Bronx County, N.Y., where 81.1 percent of people rent, are obvious; others, however, such as Clarke County, Ga. (63.3 percent) aren’t as well known. To examine the latest percentage of renters in U.S. counties with more than 65,000 people, use Social Explorer’s award-winning, up-to-date interactive tools.
