THURSDAY, JUN 04, 2020

The annual Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City isn't likely to happen this month, but there will be plenty of celebrations across the nation on June 14th. The nation's Puerto Rican population has grown by 33 percent over the last decade, according to a Social Explorer analysis of 2005-09 and 2014-18 American Community Survey data.  Most of the growth among the nation's 8.8 million Puerto Ricans (5.5 million of whom live in U.S. states) over the decade occurred in Florida and New England, with the largest gain occurring in Orange County, Fla. (70,329 additional Puerto Ricans).

Use Social Explorer's innovative online tools to see how the Puerto Rican population has changed in your county over the last decade.
