First Census Available at Both Sotheby’s Auction House and Social Explorer by Sydney Beveridge
On Wednesday, April 14th, Sotheby’s Auction House will be selling a copy of the first Census from 1790, signed by then Secretary of State Thomas Jefferson.
If you can’t make it to the auction, you can access this and every other census anytime with Social Explorer. Premium subscribers have full access to 1790 maps and reports.
