- Farm operation headed by a white farmer is the sum of white native and foreign born owner, and tenant farm operation heads.
- State of Alaska has a total number of owned and rented farm count without iterations.
- Alaska's counties and Hawaii's county do not have counts for this table.
- State of Hawaii did not iterate number of farm operated by a white head and iterated 7,962 farms operated by a black or non-white head. Caution: User should be advised that published total owned and rented farms for State of Hawaii was 5,158 while there were 7,962 farms operated by a black or non-white head.
