Hba1c test is a standard test that provides information about a person's average levels of blood glucose, also called blood sugar, over the past 3 months. Hba1c test is also called the hemoglobin A1c, HbA1c, or glycohemoglobin test.

Diabetic Medicare Enrollees Receiving Hba1c Test

Diabetic Monitoring is the percentage of diabetic fee-for-service Medicare patients ages 65-75 whose blood sugar control was monitored in the past year using a test of their glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels.
