Notes:
- 1910 Census publication provided total native white with foreign born parents.
- In the county level, aggregation of native persons with foreign born parents is the same as published native white with foreign born parents. However, in the state level, aggregation of white persons with foreign born parents from all foreign places of birth over counts Census published native white with foreign born parents. This discrepancy occurred because state level’s total native white with foreign born parents counts were derived from aggregating county level’s totals of native white with foreign born parents. In the county level, depending on the state, selected foreign places of birth of parents were iterated and others were omitted. Even though county level’s published native white with foreign born parents counts were the same as the aggregations of native white with foreign born parents from all foreign places of birth, they were less than the actual total foreign born counts had they iterated all places of birth of foreign parents.
- State level did not omitted any places of birth, hence the aggregation of native white with foreign born parents from all foreign places of birth will always be higher than the published total native white with foreign born parents counts (Published native white with foreign born parents counts for the State were aggregates of counties’ native white with foreign born parents’ places of birth, and since counties did not iterate all places of birth, states' published foreign born parentage counts will be lower than aggregation of native white with foreign born parents from all foreign places of birth).
- Universe: “Total White Population with Foreign Parents” and "Native Born White With Mixed Parentage or With Native Parentage" was created by Social Explorer. Caution: County level’s total native white with foreign born parents is the aggregate of selected foreign places birth of parents (which was determined by the state).
- National and State level’s total native white with foreign born parents is aggregate of all places of birth of foreign parents.
- Native born white with mixed parentage or with native parentage is the difference between native white with foreign parents and total native white population.
