Ahmed Lacevic is the main developer behind Social Explorer. He graduated from Queens College with a B.S. in Computer Science.

Ahmed started working on Social Explorer while still in college. Prior to that he worked on projects which included telephony applications, paging system backend, paging system controller, and various smaller projects.

Ahmed was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia in 1980, and immigrated to the United States at the outset of the Bosnian civil war in 1992. He lives in New York City.
