Social Explorer's Andrew Beveridge recently appeared on the television show Independent Sources, hosted by Garry Pierre-Pierre (CUNY TV). As part of the show's special election-related coverage, the episode explores who votes in ethnic and immigrant communities and how they can have more of a political impact. Beveridge and fellow guest Dr. Heath Brown of John Jay College of Criminal Justice/CUNY discuss turnout, candidates, redistricting, local and national elections, voter access, demographic shifts and much more.
