Social Explorer’s Andrew Beveridge at the Social Science History Association Conference

SSHA_prSocial Explorer's Andrew Beveridge will be at the Social Science History (SSHA) Conference this weekend.  The 38th Annual Meeting takes place in Chicago and explores the theme of "Organizing Powers."  

On Sunday, November 24, from 8 to 10 am, he will participate in "From Visualizing to Understanding Historical Change Using GIS Tools on the Web, in Class, and in Museums."  Chaired by Ann Knowles of Middlebury College, the panel will also feature Beveridge's National Science Foundation collaborators Josh Radinsky (University of Illinois at Chicago) and Leilah Lyons (University of Illinois at Chicago and New York Hall of Science).

The Social Science History Association is an interdisciplinary group of scholars that shares interests in social life and theory; historiography, and historical and social-scientific methodologies.  For more about the conference, please visit the SSHA website.
