201015_popest600pxExplore the Census Bureau's Population Estimates for 2010 through 2015 in our reports and maps. These estimates include detailed data on age (by race and gender), births, deaths, migration, and housing units. The data are available at the national, state and county levels.

As a sample, explore this map of the estimated birth rate per 1,000 people for 2011 and 2015. In 2011, the rates span from 9.51 in Maine to nearly twice that in Utah (18.57).

By 2015, the rates remain low and now slightly lower in New England (9.45 in New Hampshire) and highest (but not quite as high) in Utah (17.34). Zoom in for more detail.
