Explore the Census Bureau's 2015 Population Estimates in our reports. These estimates include detailed data on age (by race and gender), births, deaths, migration, and housing units. The data are available at the national, state and county levels.
For example, the estimates show that 3,985,924 babies were born in the US last year, which is equilvalent to 12.5 per 1,000 population. Of New York City's five boroughs, Brooklyn has the highest rate of births (15.87 per 1,000 population), followed by the Bronx (14.85 per 1,000 population). Meanwhile, the other three boroughs are lower than the national rate. Explore more population estimates, and new years of data will be added soon.
