WEDNESDAY, SEP 23, 2015

ACS_2014Newly released data from the 2014 American Community Survey are now available on Social Explorer. Subscribers can access the new data with both our map and reporting tools.

The American Community Survey (ACS) is an extensive annual survey administered by the Census Bureau to a sample of about three million households nationwide. The data includes variables on income, race, ancestry, health insurance, commute time and much more.

This latest release includes the 2014 one-year file.  Please note that the Census Bureau has discontinued the three-year file, but all three-year files through 2011-13 are available on Social Explorer.

The new five-year file (2010-2014) with more geographic detail will be available on our site this December when the Census Bureau releases them.
